Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Miami County, Indiana. The job is at a wholesale meat market. You will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Rotating shifts.
