Great opportunity: moulder (South Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Beaufort County, South Carolina. Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
