Immediate opening: rebar foreman (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar foreman in McDonough County, Illinois. Day to day you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Part-time with flexible hours.
