Great opportunity: stainless steel welder (New Mexico)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in San Miguel County, New Mexico. The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
