Immediate opening: gas pipeline fitter (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Henderson County, Illinois. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On a typical shift you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
