Gang bricklayer — Spink County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Spink County, South Dakota. You will work at a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
