Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Arlington County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
