Now hiring: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Owen County, Kentucky. You will prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio. Ideal candidate: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
