Great opportunity: electrical maintenance fitter (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an electrical maintenance fitter in Madison County, Illinois. You will be based in a factory maintenance department. Day-to-day duties: • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable Ideal candidate: • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
