Great opportunity: heavy equipment operator (dozer) (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Wise County, Virginia. You will be based on a road construction project. Day to day you will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
