Head butcher — Westmoreland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Westmoreland County, Virginia. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Day to day you will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
