Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Adams County, Ohio. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
