Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Gloucestershire, England. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On the job you will handle: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £1,850 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
