We are recruiting: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Northwest Hills Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a logistics warehouse. Your main tasks: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off What we are looking for: • Valid digital tachograph card • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
