Short order cook wanted in Gratiot County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a short order cook in Gratiot County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Full-time, day shift.
