Immediate opening: GMAW welder (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Benton County, Tennessee. The role involves read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
