Safety marshal wanted in Rensselaer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety marshal in Rensselaer County, New York. You will work in a chemical processing unit. On a typical shift you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Meals and transport allowance provided.
