Smash repairer — Livingston Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a smash repairer in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a paint and panel shop. Day to day you will measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place. You should have: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench 1+ years on the tools preferred.
