Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations The role involves investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry.
