Now hiring: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Ife North, Osun State. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
