Bread baker • Sierra County, New Mexico

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread baker in Sierra County, New Mexico. You will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
