Safety marshal wanted in City of Emporia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in City of Emporia, Virginia. The job is on a high-rise building project. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Your main tasks: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
