Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Shelby County

Your main tasks: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
