Paint and prep technician • Harper County, Oklahoma

Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Harper County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. The role involves: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting What we are looking for: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing 2+ years on the tools preferred.
