Immediate opening: PVC window fabricator (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Pamlico County, North Carolina. You will work in the profile cutting and welding bay. On a typical shift you will clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
