GMAW welder • Karu, Nasarawa State

Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Karu, Nasarawa State. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer ₦1,500 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
