Catering cook — Kemper County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a catering cook in Kemper County, Mississippi. You will work in a hotel kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Six days a week, one day off.
