Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Skamania County, Washington. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
