Stamping press operator wanted in Caroline County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Caroline County, Virginia. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. Your main tasks: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Part-time with flexible hours.
