Gantry crane operator wanted in Blaenau Gwent

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Blaenau Gwent, Wales. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes The role involves: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around £1,950 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
