We are recruiting: gas pipeline fitter (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Calhoun County, Texas. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. The role involves run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
