Vacancy available: we are hiring a mall security guard in Monroe County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Alert, disciplined and punctual • Clean police verification with no criminal record The role involves check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds; keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register; monitor the CCTV screens in the control room; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
