Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Part-time with flexible hours. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
