Immediate opening: MIG/MAG welder (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Owsley County, Kentucky. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
