Sheet metal welder wanted in Pasquotank County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
