Concrete shuttering carpenter wanted in Atlantic County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Atlantic County, New Jersey. The role involves set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
