Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Day to day you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; write and edit G-code programs at the control; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
