Industrial sewing operator wanted in Isabella County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Isabella County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown 4+ years on the tools preferred.
