Fire and safety officer wanted in Gloucester County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Gloucester County, New Jersey. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On the job you will handle: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
