Natural gas fitter — Washington Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Washington Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Day to day you will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points.
