Domestic gas engineer • Grant County, Oregon

Join our team: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Grant County, Oregon. You will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
