VMC operator wanted in Buena Vista County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Buena Vista County, Iowa. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
