Aluminium TIG welder • Canyon County, Idaho

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Canyon County, Idaho. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
