Finishing plasterer • Obion County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Obion County, Tennessee. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. The role involves: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
