We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Camp County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
