Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Bekwarra, Cross River State. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
