Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. Day to day you will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Meals and transport allowance provided.
