Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Manatee County, Florida. The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 2+ years on the tools preferred. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
