Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Pope County, Arkansas. The job is at a container port. The role involves tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 1+ years on the tools preferred.
