Immediate opening: we are hiring a membrane applicator in Alpine County, California. You will work at an industrial plant. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Day-to-day duties: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
